Bullying refers to the actions of participants in the educational process that consist of psychological, physical, economic, or sexual violence. Such actions are committed against a child or by a child against other participants in the educational process, which may result in harm to the victim's mental or physical health.
Bullying can also be carried out using electronic communication tools (cyberbullying). Its characteristic features are systematic occurrence and an imbalance of power between the perpetrator and the victim.
UNICEF defines bullying as unwanted aggressive behavior that leads to the victimizing of an individual with the aim of humiliation, intimidation, and a demonstration of power.
