Accessibility Conditions of the Institution for Persons with Special Needs

The Dnipro Institute of PJSC "HEI "MAUP" has created favorable conditions for the education of students with special educational needs, including students with disabilities, ensuring their unimpeded access to all premises in the building, namely:

• An elevator is available for reaching the second floor;
• Stairs are equipped with handrails to organize the safe movement of students;
• Restrooms have been renovated; ongoing repairs of classrooms, the gym, and the branch library have been completed.

Conclusion on the accessibility for persons with disabilities and other low-mobility groups of the building and non-residential premises in which the Dnipro Institute of PJSC "HEI "MAUP" operates.

All primary premises of the institution have natural lighting. Light falls on the workstations from the left. The following requirements were considered in the decoration of the educational premises: light-colored walls; furniture and desks in natural wood colors; dark green chalkboards; and white ceilings, doors, and window frames. The arrangement of furniture, equipment, and decorative plants contributes to the maximum use of daylight and uniform illumination of the rooms.

From September to May, lighting levels in the premises are increased using artificial lighting – LED lamps. The institution maintains an appropriate air and thermal regime. The premises are equipped with central heating and ventilation systems that provide favorable microclimatic conditions of the internal environment. Air cleanliness in the institution is ensured by regular wet cleaning and the use of all types of ventilation (through, corner, and one-sided). The institution is fully provided with the necessary educational areas.
