On June 18, 2026, a seminar of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance was held at the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic".
The event, which took place in an in-person format, was attended by more than 100 representatives of higher education institutions from Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, and other regions of Ukraine. Among the participants was Natalya Kulinenko, Dean of the Dnipro Institute of MAUP.
In his opening remarks, Andrii Butenko, Head of the National Agency, emphasized that modern higher education quality assurance represents the viability of universities, public trust, and human capital development.
The main speakers of the seminar were Nataliia Stukalo and Ivan Nazarov, Vice Heads of the National Agency, as well as Oksana Trebenko, Head of the Analytical and Training Support Department.
The program of the event covered key vectors of higher education transformation. Particular attention of the participants was paid to practical tools for developing the educational environment and the role of the modern quality assurance system in the daily organization of higher education institutions' activities. A lively discussion was sparked by the debate on the future external evaluation of the National Agency according to European standards — benefits, recommendations, and perspectives of ESG 2027.
Among the practical components of the seminar, the issues of academic integrity culture as an integral part of the internal education quality assurance system, as well as aspects of applying the "List of Significant Deficiencies" in the internal quality assurance system of higher education institutions, were considered separately.
Participation in such events allows the Dnipro Institute of MAUP to keep abreast of modern trends and standards of higher education quality assurance and to apply the best practices in the educational process.
