Mandatory educational components

Syllabus – the study program of the discipline, which includes a description of the study discipline, the purpose and tasks, meaningful modules and the names of the topics of the classes, the duration of each class, tasks for independent work, consultation time, teacher requirements, assessment criteria, list of used literature.

The syllabus is a teacher's personalized program for teaching students in each subject, which is updated at the beginning of each academic year.

The syllabus in its content is a document that defines:

• amounts of knowledge that a student should acquire during the discipline course;
• algorithm for learning educational material;
• necessary methodological support;
• components and technology of assessing students' knowledge.

The syllabus is developed on the basis of the educational and qualification characteristics, the educational and professional training program of a specialist of one or another level and the corresponding educational and work curricula, taking into account the logical model of teaching the discipline.
