Four years have passed since the day that forever divided our lives into "before" and "after."
The morning that began with explosions became the starting point of a new reality—harsh, painful, yet one that revealed the true strength of Ukrainian society.
For four years, our people have stood their ground—on the front lines and in the rear, in hospitals and schools, at enterprises and universities. Each of us has become part of this resistance: some with weapons in hand, others through their work, knowledge, and faith in victory.
The past year brought its own unique challenges. Massive strikes on energy infrastructure led to prolonged blackouts and strict schedules for electricity, heating, and water. Generators, power banks, and working under limited resources became a daily reality. Constant drone attacks, air raid sirens, and persistent tension formed the backdrop of our everyday lives. Despite this, the university continues to operate: conducting classes, researching, teaching, and learning.
The Dnipro Institute of IAPM bows its head in memory of all who gave their lives for the freedom and future of Ukraine. We express our sincere gratitude and deep respect to our military, volunteers, medics, and rescuers—everyone who defends our land and supports those in need every day. Thanks to their courage and self-sacrifice, we are able to maintain the educational and scientific front.
Our institute lives and develops, training specialists who will shape the recovery economy, the infrastructure of the future, and modern science. We are laying the foundation for a Ukraine that will be technological, legal, and European—not only in form, but in its core values.
Our shared duty today is to do our work honestly and professionally. To maintain the quality of education. To develop science. To support one another. To nurture a young generation that will live and work in a restored country.
Four years of war have changed each of us. They taught us to value the light in classrooms and homes, the spark of a living thought, and the opportunity to plan for the future. They taught us responsibility for our words, decisions, and choices. These years have shown the world: Ukraine is a nation with an unbreakable spirit, a people who chose freedom and are paying the highest price for it.
We have survived the darkest days. We will survive current trials as well. For we have faith, intellect, and a common goal. And we have the most important thing—Ukraine, which could not and will not be broken.
We remember. We fight. We will win.
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
