May 8th is the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, a moment when time seems to stand still, allowing us to hear the echoes of the past within our own hearts. Today, together with the entire world, we bow our heads in deep respect, honoring the memory of millions who perished: the soldiers who fell in battle, the victims of war crimes, deportations, and the Holocaust. World War II was a horrific tragedy that did not spare a single Ukrainian family, and today this living memory blossoms as poppies across the fields of our history, reminding us of the incredible price of every breath of freedom. 🥀
This day takes on a special, poignant meaning now, as Ukraine is once again forced to take up arms to defend its land, sovereignty, and its very history against Russian aggression. The modern enemy employs the same cynical and predatory methods as Nazism did eight decades ago, but in this standoff against darkness, we know firmly: truth is on our side. Honoring the heroes of the past, we feel an unbreakable bond between generations and express our boundless gratitude to the modern-day defenders, whose courage brings our new Victory closer every day. ✨
With eternal memory of all the fallen and with unwavering faith in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we look toward our free future. We will not forget, we will endure, we will prevail!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
